Laura Settier, from the Packaging group of the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology, has received the prize for the best poster at the fifth edition of the MATBIM 2019 congress held in Milan on 8-10 May.
The congress was held under the title "Bridging the gap between academia and industry". Therefore, the objective was to cover fundamental aspects of food and bioproduct packaging materials in order to promote technology transfer to the industrial field, focusing specifically on three main topics:
Mass transfer and interactions between food and bioproducts/materials.
New trends in ecological materials.
New materials through nanotechnology pathways.
