Francisco Romero Gascón: “When I first applied to a MSCA-IF-GF, I wanted to assess my competitiveness within the European research community, and I was also motivated by a huge reduction of the research funding offered by the Spanish Government. The MSCA helped provide a high-quality scientific environment. The hard work during the development of this project has been rewarded with an improvement in my network of collaborators, high impact publications and the opportunity to develop outreach activities, which I hope will improve my chances to obtain a permanent position in Spain.”
