"The Presenter Games: May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor (to have an awesome presentation)" , por Arijana Filipić

El seminario, titulado: "The Presenter Games: May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor (to have an awesome presentation)" comenzará a las 10:00 en la Sala de Conferencias del IATA (en sótano del Instituto).

About Arijana Filipić

Dr. Arijana Filipić works at the National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she explores creative ways to tackle viruses—like using cold plasma—and works on water decontamination. She also founded Arijana's Academy for Presenting (https://arijanasacademy.com/) to help people feel more confident on stage and create talks that truly connect with their audience. Arijana has been teaching since she was young and has years of experience presenting. She’s given talks across the globe—from Japan to Canada—to a wide range of audiences: scientists, investors, children… at events that vary from scientific conferences to TEDx talks. Along the way, she’s received several awards for her presentation skills. Why Attend?
The workshop will focus on how to efficiently communicate your scientific results to any audience—from the scientific community to the broader public. The tools you will learn can be applied to various types of presentations, whether you are preparing for a conference talk, defending your thesis, or engaging in science communication. Several aspects of a great presentation will be covered: how to prepare an engaging story, how to deliver it, and how to deal with the fear of public speaking (and if time allows, we will also talk about slides!). Who Should Attend?
The workshop is especially suitable for individuals with limited presentation experience. However, everyone is welcome, as it is designed to be interesting and useful for all. We hope to see you there for a fun and practical session that might just change the way you think about presenting!
