Jaime Zacarías participates in the I PhD Meeting in Plant Science

The XXIII Biannual Meeting of the Spanish Society of Plant Physiology and the XVI Spanish-Portuguese Congress of Plant Physiology took place in Pamplona last June 26-28.

Within the framework of the congress, the I PhD Meeting in Plant Science was also organized, a great proposal that counted with the participation of Jaime Zacarías, from the Food Biotechnology group of IATA with his communication: "Carotenoids profiling and transcriptomic analysis of carotenoid metabolism genes in the pulp of two red-fleshed mutants of sweet orange (Citrus sinensis)", selected for oral presentation.

The congress offered different sessions in which the main areas of plant biology were covered. In addition, there were several sessions aimed at disseminating science to society (especially to young people) and promoting technology transfer between academia and companies in the agricultural sector.
