
Dr. Josep Vicent Mercader, from the Department of Conservation and Food Safety of the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA-CSIC), participated in the ISEAC-40 congress, which took place in Santiago de Compostela from June 18 to 22.
The central subjet of ISEAC-40 conference was the innovative use of analytical methods for research on relevant environmental and food issues, resulting in a wide range of more specific topics such as sampling, target and non-target analysis, rapid test systems and on-site applications, risk assessment or food authenticity.
The main objective of this congress was to provide a forum for the exchange of scientific knowledge in these fields, with guest speakers, multiple spaces for conferences by young and regular participants, poster sessions and an exhibition.
