
Dr. Gloria Sánchez, from the Department of Food Conservation and Quality of the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA), participated in the congress "Hepatitis E: paradigm of an emerging foodborne zoonotic disease in Europe".
Gloria intervened with his paper: "Comparison of methods for the detection of Hepatitis E virus in lettuce and water samples".
The congress took place in Madrid during the past June 4 and 5, connecting professionals from different areas of expertise (doctors, veterinarians, epidemiologists, food officials and legislators) from different European countries.
The objective of the current state was to update and update the HEV (Hepatitis E Virus) at European level with the ultimate goal of establishing a consortium of hepatitis E and a red one to request European calls (Horizon 2020).
