On June 8, Amparo López, from the IATA Packaging Group and Marta Martínez-Sanz, from CIAL (Madrid), gave the online seminar "Doses against plastic (sustainable packaging)", organized by the Eurocaja Rural Foundation.
The researchers presented alternatives to traditional packaging, presenting other sustainable and ecological materials, highlighting the different advances and real options that can be adopted, both in the short and medium term, in industrial and consumer habits, as well as the different options available to packaging manufacturers, especially those dedicated to the agri-food industry.
