
Dr. Fidel Toldrá Vilardell, Research Professor at the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (CSIC), received the "2019 Award for Advancement of Application of Agricultural and Food Chemistry" at the gala dinner of the Agricultural and Food Chemistry Division during the celebration of the National Congress of the American Chemical Society held from 25 to 29 August in San Diego (California). Previously, he gave a lecture entitled "Recent progress in enzymatic release of food-derived peptides and assessment of bioactivity" at the Award symposium.
Dr. Toldrá also gave a lecture entitled "Bioactive peptides in cured meats and its health relevance" at the Food Bioactives: Chemistry & Health Effects Symposium at the same congress where he was awarded in California.
