Our colleague Cristina Prieto, researcher of the Group of New Materials and Nanotechnology for Food Applications, has obtained the prize of the V Call for Grants for the transfer of knowledge in the agri-food sector of the AgroBank Chair. The prize has been awarded to his research project "Microencapsulation of natural bioactive ingredients from plant by-products using the pressurized gas-assisted electrospraying technique", and has competed against 11 other projects submitted to this call.

On Friday, February 25, the Minister of Science and Innovation Diana Morant visited IATA. In addition to introducing her to the laboratories of researchers Yolanda Sanz, Amparo Querol, Gloria Sánchez and Chema Lagarón, she also toured a good part of the facilities of the IATA.
