Important warning

Please read the following information in order to know which of the addresses indicated is the most appropriate to which to send your query. If you are unsure to whom you should send your enquiry, please direct it to the e- mail address of the IATA general information (see below). From there, your message will be forwarded to the appropriate people.

Bear in mind that if, in example, you ask a scientific question to the Accounting section, they will probably not know anything about that topic, not know any person to whom forward it or even forget your message while doing their own work.

The General information desk will deal with general enquiries and try to find the person best fitted to answer

The Manager of the institute will deal with general enquiries about the administration of the IATA and also questions related to the previously run "Specialised Course in Food Technology". and its activities.

The Web Manager will deal with questions related to the work of the Web server at the IATA, page content and possible problems and suggestions about it.

Departments and Units For technical queries please first consult the Departments and Units link to identify the most appropriate place to send your question. Please bear in mind that the IATA is a research centre and not a public information facility and would only try to provide information within the boundaries of its ability or availability.

Personnel search In case you are looking for the e- mail address of a specific person, please use the Personnel search link. Every query submitted from outside the IATA local network will be restricted to offer you the kind of information that each person would previously allowed to be public.

Location and how to arrive If the e- mail addres of the person you need to contact with has not been published in the search engine, you may either send a message through the general information e- mail address or contact by phone or post (you will find the telephone number and postal address in the Location and how to arrive link).

Unwanted messages - spams

Please, do not use our e- mail addresses to send to them messages about how to get a lot of money in one week, offer your fabulous catalogue of household products or similar messages. Some people use to send them massively, without knowing to whom they are sending them, just as an easy marketing way, known in Internet as "spamming".

Not even you may allege that any distant law of a foreign country allow you to do that. It is no more that we do not like to receive that kind of messages. Please: be polite and do not send them to us.

In case that, despite our petition, you reach to be molest sending that kind of messages, we will be forced to denounce your activity either to your Internet provider or to the several spam blocking services available in the net.
